Even if many things are shut down due to Level 5 restrictions you can rest assure that house sales are continuing. The process is a bit different, but while you may encounter some delays due to increased levels of documentation required, it shouldn’t take too much longer because of the pandemic.
Virtual tours are now in place and digital brochures are sent to potential home buyers that are beyond 5km travel limit. Viewings need to be scheduled and limited to one viewing party at a time. PPE, hand sanitizer and wipes should be provided at the property. Getting mortgage approved shouldn’t be hugely different to the pre-pandemic process, if your circumstances haven’t changed.
